June–the month our strict lockdown was ended and we had more freedom to spend time with others and get out of the house.
After three months of not really doing much outside of our apartment walls, we figure it was time to spend extended time in the great outdoors. We hiked to a familiar place, set up camp, and celebrated our 3rd Anniversary.
Three years of life covenanted together as husband and wife. Three years of learning about each other and how to work together as a team. Three years of learning that the foundation of marriage is covenant love–the bearing all things, forgiving, trusting, persevering, not wanting your own way kind of love.

If you could come over for a visit, we’d chat in the living room while sipping Kombucha Palmers from bamboo straws. One day this lockdown life will be over and that could actually be a reality again.
We’ve been in lockdown for 60 days now and naturally my husband and I have been together for 60 days too. We definitely love and appreciate each other but knew we needed to make date night happen and make it feel like something out of the ordinary.

Balcony Life– Sometimes it’s phone calls while pacing back and forth on the balcony or laying in the hammock. Other times it’s studying language on the outdoor couch or my new favorite, Balcony Barre class with Btribalfit.
