Chilly morning. Window open. Rain bouncing around as it lands on concrete and the car outside. Thankful for the new wool sweater I’m wrapped in that a team brought from the States. Found it on sale online and had it sent to someone’s house.
Mango banana smoothie in one hand and coffee in the other. Poured the smoothies in our new little glass cups that the hubs bought for me at the fair the other night. He know I wouldn’t want any glasses with crazy designs or sparkles or anything else that is prevalent here. The motto seems to be, “The more bling, the better.” Not in our household. He knew just what I would like– plain and simple and “normal” looking. Of course “normal” is relative, depending on where you are from but thankfully we both have the same definition of a normal cup.
