Ephesians Two: Ten

Eph 2:10 (paraphrase from AMP)

“For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us].”

Everyone has a different journey with learning another language. For a few people, it comes quite easily and quickly yet, for the rest of us, it’s a struggle. A battle in your mind and a battle to fight against lies. I’ll be honest with you– it has been / is one of the most difficult things I’ve ever done. It’s often discouraging, disappointing, defeating, frustrating, confusing, and can feel never ending. But in all the ups and downs, there is one thing that lifts my spirits– the Word of God!

The Word brings us back to the big picture.

WHO–can separate me from His love?

WHAT– glorious hope I have in Him

WHEN–I fear, trust in Him

WHERE—my hope lies

WHY–so that He gets the glory

HOW –He sees me.

The Truth –that He is for me.

So if you are walking in a trial, big or small, any kind or anywhere, take a few minutes to dwell on these verses and FIX YOUR EYES ON CHRIST!

Keep your eyes on Christ

Keep pressing on

We get disappointed when our eyes are on anything but Christ.

May your hope, confidence, and expectation be in Him alone!

May the goal each day be to press on being faithful…running the race he has set before you with perseverance.
