As summer approaches and the days get hotter, we often crave refreshing drinks filled with ice, dripping with condensation, and bursting with summer flavor. Kombucha Arnold Palmers are my new favorite drink that checks all three boxes. Not only does it taste like summer but it has probiotics and added health bonuses due to the Kombucha. If you could come over for a visit, we’d chat in the living room while sipping Kombucha Palmers from bamboo straws. One day this lockdown life will be over and that could actually be a reality again. Count me in!
Step 1: Make this amazing and super easy Blender Lemonade from Pinch of Yum.
SIDE NOTE ON ASIAN LEMONS:
When I moved to South Asia, I wasn’t sure if the tiny round yellow fruit was an odd shaped lemon or a fruit I had never seen before, which isn’t an uncommon occurrence. After asking a friend, I learned that they were indeed lemons. I usually use three little baby lemons for one Eureka or Lisbon lemon (aka: regular “American” lemon).
Step 2: Fill half a glass up with kombucha.
You can use plain or any fruity flavored kombucha.
Step 3: Fill the rest of the glass up with homemade lemonade.
Step 4: Top with ice and enjoy the fresh and healthy summer drink.
If you happen to try it, I’d love to know what you think.
